I like this web page!! it really clear and nice very organized!!! i also believe that people is poor because of personal problems because they have to drop studies and have to work in early ages to bring food to their houses so it is not the exclusion of society but people by their self that become poor.
People are poor because that's all they want to be. See, they know they are poor, they are well aware of it, yet instead of trying to change it they just perpetuate the cycle. For example: an albañil, let's say, gets paid for a long day of work, what's the first thing he'll do? Go get drunk, go have smoke or go get high. He could've easily saved it for his kids education, food or clothing but he thought it was smarter for him to go get wasted. I believe poverty is carried on because of the way people are educated. By education I do not mean their knowledge on math and science, but on their knowledge of the harshness of life and how not studying, and wasting their time is not going ot help them out in the future. Poverty can be and will be stop when people stop asking for the government to magically fulfill their needs and they finally decide to take action with their lives.
this web page is very good as your class i understand it very well. i agree with what they say. i truly believe that people who are poor are mostly because they dont have the opportunity to overcome their problems. for example they have a lot of kids and they cant afford them. they should think of their actions and analyze what is going wrong in their lives.
i dont agree with the comment of carlos becuase i think that people that want to overcome their poorness make what is possible to get out of poorness i know story about people very poor that have overcome that and become in a wealthy economical position by putting all their effort in their studies and graduating from college. i think you can make an effort and be succesful in life
